With safe parking next to the property and with only a short walk into Belper , makes this the ideal place to stay in Belper if you don't want to use your car. There are many pubs and restaurants just a short walk away and we're also close to the train station. The ground floor apartment is in a stunning location with has a comfortable lounge/ dining room with large flat screen television with Netflix etc, There are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower and a large bathroom. The Kitchen is fully fitted with integrated appliances and everything you need to make your stay comfortable including dishwasher and coffee machine. The property forms part of the historic former convent being the old refectory with high ceilings and much character and yet has been modernised to provide comfortable accommodation with easy access. There is central heating, a log effect fire in the lounge and comfortable leather sofas. Books and games are available for your enjoyment.
The hosts live nearby and are only 5 minutes away if anything is required We can meet and greet at any time convenient to our guests, or keys can be made available We can provide information on the local area and the best places to visit / nearby restaurants etc
Belper was the proud winner of the Great British High Street Award in 2014 . It's just a short walk to King Street where you will find a good selection of retail shops , cafes and restaurants , a bingo hall and cinema, plus a monthly farmer's market in the historic Market Place. The apartment is a very short walk to Belper Railway Station and there are buses available taking you to Derby, Matlock and further into the Peak District In addition the property has guest parking which is free and very secure Easy acess via the A6 which links to the A38 and M1
