We, Nadia and Sergio, are a young couple living together in the small village of Mergoscia, where I was born and raised and where Sergio, originally from Brazil, joined me in 2020. Before settling in this beautiful, typical Ticino mountain village, we travelled together around the world to more than 40 countries. We met in Indonesia, while I was travelling and Sergio was living and studying in Australia. Travelling is our passion and with Armonia Holiday Homes, we have realised our dream of welcoming guests from all over the world and in our own way; in an authentic, sustainable and sensitive local way, as we have learnt and appreciated during our travels. The studio Cà Armonia is located on the 3rd floor of a building from which one can enjoy a splendid view of Lake Verzasca, the famous Verzasca dam, Lago Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. It is therefore an excellent starting point to start various excursions or to reach other nearby tourist destinations such as Ascona, the Brissago Islands, the valleys up to the castles of Bellinzona or Lugano. The space is very bright and consists of an open-plan kitchen, a wooden mezzanine floor on which a 160x200 double mattress is placed. On request for a third guest, we will add a 90x200 single mattress or you can stay on the sofa, which can be converted into a bed. The studio also has a private terrace with table and chairs where you can have your meals or simply admire the surrounding landscape. The bathroom with WC and shower is fully equipped and is provided with towels, hairdryer, soap and toilet paper. The kitchen is fully equipped; with a fridge with integrated freezer, electric hobs, toaster, kettle, small electric oven and a Delizio coffee machine and a Bialetti moka coffee machine. For absolute hygiene, all mattresses and pillows are lined with a hypoallergenic, breathable and antibacterial OEKO-TEX® Standard-certified cover. The covers are 100% cotton and all paper products, such as toilet paper or household paper, are FSC-certified or made from recycled materials. The towels are also made of organic & fair and/or swiss made cotton. Soap, detergent and cleaning products are also natural and ecological. For those arriving by car and for those arriving by bus, there are several free public parking spaces and a bus stop directly below the building. N.B. In summer and during holidays, parking spaces are limited and we recommend reaching Mergoscia by public transport.

Mergoscia is a picturesque mountain village situated on a sunny slope in the Verzasca Valley. The panorama, tranquillity and nature are the elements that characterise it. Today it has about 200 permanent residents and from here it is possible to set off on various excursions: Monti di Lego, Corippo-Lavertezzo, Cardada - Cimetta, Monte Trosa, Alpe di Bietri, Diga della Verzasca and many more!
