The hostel is right in the middle of Huacachina, facilities were great and the pool was lovely. Food excellent too, would highly recommend

The noises you hear from dogs or cars with microphones are all over Nazca. You will be fine with earplugs. I stayed two nights and slept like a baby. They have hot water in the shower and filter water for drinking and refill. They have a little kitchen and a fridge. The walk to the city center is a maximum of 10 minutes.
