Very clean, functional and equipped communal area. Excellent location with beautiful surroundings. Powerful, hot shower. Spacious double room.

Efficient, kind, generous and prompt to help us with all we needed. We sincerely appreciate his promptness to send us per post on his own costs a super important object (professional working badge) we forgot in our room at the Chateau when leaving to our following accommodation in Queenstown. Definitely awesome!!! We shall certainly come back to Franz Josef when again in New Zealand and we shall reserve once more with Chateau Backpackers & Motels! The Undertakers Backpackers is located in Kumara, 20 km from Hokitika and 20 km from Greymouth. The Undertakers Backpackers is a four bedroom cottage with a shared living area, kitchen and bathroom. We loved the cottage - 5 of us stayed there and it was great Very Cutie and well presented

Located in Punakaiki, 1 km from Punakaiki Scenic Attraction, Punakaiki Beach Hostel has a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi is available. Great stay. The stuff is very friendly and everything was clean and well organized. Around the Hostel are enough things to do, so you wont get bored. Would stay there again.
