Located in Tola, a few steps from Playa Gigante, Monkey House Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great price value! Really nice staff and amazing view from the hostel and the restaurant. The food prices are more than fair and very yummy daily specials. It’s a small hostel, so it is easy to meet other travellers in the main hangout area. The hostel is owned by locals. I can definitely recommend this place :)

Facing the beachfront in Moyogalpa, Rancho Tranquillo features a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and a tour desk are featured. All units at the hostel are equipped with a seating area. Breakfast is fantastic! Owners are wonderful. Close to the city but feels very 'tranquillo'.

By far the best hostel myself and my girlfriend have stayed in during our trip to Central and South America. There is such a special environment/atmosphere created here which is ultimately due to the dedicated and friendly people that run the hostel. The common areas (including the kitchen) are all beautiful. Whether it's the living area which looks out over the jungle or the kitchen which is modern and has all the equipment you could ever need. Also, the beach is 5 minutes away from the hostel. You will undoubtedly fall in love with Maderas and Hostel Clandestino and never want to leave!

La Urraca Loca Hostel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Balgue. Featuring barbecue facilities, the property is located within 12 km of Maderas Volcano. La Urraca all a was a little cosy home on Ometepe. The design is quirky, using eco materials, and everything was well thought through. We were shocked to have our first warm shower! Breakfast was well priced. The bed was comfy. We loved our stay!

André(sorry no clue how to write your name) location is really good. Only 8 guests maximum at a time easy to connect with people. Family vibe. Thank you for the good vibes

Set in Rivas, 300 metres from Playa Amarillo, EL TUMBO offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a cozy hostel with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

Hush is an adult-only hotel. It features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in San Juan del Sur. this property also provides guests with a barbecue. the place was magical, and I felt so grateful for the owners to have opened such beautiful access to travelers on a budget. I believe it's the only place I have been too which offers almond mild with the free coffee all day long and once again it shows how amazing and thoughtful the owners and staff are. I am also super grateful for the lovely young lady who came from the village to give me a massage which had cured some pains I have had for many months !! I am so going back :) . and last but not least, I was meditating alone at 5 a.m when this beautiful dog came to say hi and turned out to be amazing at doing yoga !! I couldn't believe my eyes

Hostel Julieta is set in Rivas, 33 km from Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua, and has a terrace. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Clean hotel with great, friendly hosts. We used the hotel to go to Ometepe Island the next day. Had a room with air conditioning, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and varied.
