Beds in the dorm were comfortable, bathroom was clean, everyone had a fan, drinking water provided, hammocks, a delicious affordable breakfast was also an option which I highly recommend! The location was close to the ferry port, it was very easy to explore other parts of the island by renting a scooter.

As soon as I got here I felt immediately relaxed. You feel in touch with nature. The room is very cozy as well and not too hot at night. Also, it’s really close to playa maderas.

Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

Hush is an adult-only hotel. It features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in San Juan del Sur. this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Hush Maderas is seductive; when you are there it is hard to leave. The view from the common area is gorgeous, especially at sunset. A lot of care and energy goes into the great quality food there. We took advantage of the massage, yoga and surfing lessons on offer; all their contacts provide excellent services. We had booked the accommodation last minute, not knowing what we had signed up for, and we were so impressed.

The location on the beach is magical, you can wake up to the lake & watch amazing sunsets. The staff are wonderful too they cooked up a meal for me one night even though the kitchen was closed & upgraded me to a better room because they had some spare & they speak English. Perfect if you want to escape the busy inland places like Granada, San Juan Del Sur or Rivas for a few days.
