The story behind the guys who have set it up is fantastic and the work they are doing for Kun Khmer is great. The gym top floor is incredible, up to 3 classes a day with a discounted rate for visitors. The areas to chill out in are perfect, so much space and seating. Great vibe.

Has a nice restaurant/bar, a billiard pool and a swimming pool that helps to hang out with other fellow travelers. The Lok lak at the restaurant was delicious. The laundry cost me only 2-3 dollars and was folded nicely in a very professional way by the laundry company the hostel collaborates with. Has clubs with good music and vibe, not too far away, that are ideal for expats or backpackers!

Attractively located in the centre of Phnom Penh, Khmer Village Guesthouse features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. A great hotel, in one of the quietest streets in Phnom Penh. The staff are always willing to help with whatever is needed. The manager accepted from me a 100 usd note that was damaged.. He was really generous about it. He also helped me to find a laundry at the last minute. He even let me stay for free for several more hours after the check out time without accepting money in exchange, because check out is at noon and my flight was at night. I tried to offer him more money but he kindly told me that it was not necessary. He even told me to take my time, that there was no rush! A manager like this is not easy to find nowhere.
