The facilities and rooms were excellent, the bathrooms were very clean and the staff and guests were very nice and understanding

The Oliver St. John Gogarty hostel is situated in the heart of Dublin’s cultural quarter, Temple Bar. The hostel offers private and shared accommodation with free WiFi and breakfast included. The location was perfect and staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room and an elevator which was nice to have with our luggage. Yes you hear noise from the bars but I fell asleep to the sounds of music and laughter from outside the room. We are 3 women traveling together and we felt very safe in this area.

They got them pod beds , sort of a capsule with a curtain and it's like you have your own private space even though you are in a shared room. Highly recommended. Even the showers that normally always feel dirty no matter what in hostels, were very clean. The location was perfect, walking distance from the city center. The beds have everything that you need in a hostel: curtains, plug, planchet, locker and a lamp. Depending on the location of your room, you won't have too much noise from the hallway.
