Very active and social team which is soooo important for a proper hostel. As a solo traveler, the best way to experience Egyptian night life, beaches, activities I.e. stargazing and desert safaris. The team is incredible! Very helpful and social. Special thanks to Matthew who set up a detailed list of places to visit in Egypt. Ending my review with the most important information: Layla is the BEST!!!

The facilities were well-organized and kept clean, giving it a warm, home-like feeling. The staff were all friendly and respectful. It's important to note that electricity is only available at night. The camp chef, Abdurahman, is excellent - he cooked delicious and varied meals. They also took care of managing everything during our time at the camp, including transportation arrangements. The staff can efficiently plan and coordinate trips from the camp to Marsa Alam as well. Overall, it was a very positive experience. The camp offered clean, comfortable accommodations and the staff provided great hospitality and assistance with anything needed during our stay.

Originally booked the hostel however they also had rooms available so I chose that option. Nice pool overlooking the Red Sea.

Location very central but relatively quiet as well above the road. Pool & seating area on the roof is a nice bonus and has a great sea view. Rooms/shared space were well equipped with cooker, kettle, fridge, washing maching & ironing facilities. Very limited facilities for buying food /drinks in the property but there are several supermarkets and plenty of bars & restaurants within a 10 min walk. Hurghada City Centre Hostel is the same property as Lilly Appartments and shares the same facilities. If you want a hostel bed or a room with other travellers around this is the place to book, if you want a private appartment book Lilly Appartment.
