Staff is extremely nice and friendly. Area in barrio Escalante is also recommended, safe neighbourhood within walking distance of the city center.

Ester`s Place in Escazù. provides accommodation with, a garden and a terrace. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Ester was so welcoming and the hospitality was amazingly good. I will be booking with her again on my future trips to Costa Rica.

Hostel Casa Ridgway offers accommodation in San José. Free parking is available on site. The rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom equipped with a shower. The staff were so so cheerful and welcoming, I felt straight like being at home. The shared shower & toilet was spacious, and felt comfortable using. The kitchen, living room and several shared public spaces were really comfortable.

Gaudys Hotel is located 8 minutes’ walk from La Sabana Metropolitan Park and 2 km from San José City Centre. Free WiFi access is available in public areas. Great vibe, boys that work there are amazing! Good location, close to bus station, supermarket ... good filling breakfast included! I loved the atmosphere the most while i was there, it really felt like home ...

Casa Escalante Hostel มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในซานโฮเซ และอยู่ห่างสวนสาธารณะลาซาบานา ไม่เกิน 5.3 กม. For the price i paid i have to give 10 points. It has everything you need and gets cleaned every day. Family that runs the business is also living there so it felt more like a homestay than a hostel. Not many travellers while i was there, which i liked. Wifi worked perfectly. Neighborhood is full of fancy restaurants and for those on a budget there is a walmart in 20 min walking distance.

Stray Cat Hostel อยู่ในซานโฮเซในภูมิภาค San José ห่างจากอุทยานแห่งชาติภูเขาไฟโปอาส 48 กม. และห่างจากสวนสาธารณะลาซาบานา 2.4 กม. I really recommend this hostel it’s a really nice place and the owner is a real gentleman

NATIVUS Art-Hostel อยู่ในซานโฮเซ และอยู่ห่างอุทยานแห่งชาติภูเขาไฟโปอาส ไม่เกิน 47 กม. A beautiful hostel, feels more like a boutique hotel. Or a home away from home. Everything is so pretty and sparkling clean. Delicious breakfast. Great location. And the host and staff are absolutely lovely, they really look after you. Could not recommend this place more.

An hotel it’s not just the building but the core values of its owner & the staff. They will treat you the same way you would like to be treated; with respect. Am definitely coming back!
