The owner is very nice and friendly. She helped us upgrade our room into a much more spacious room without paying any extra fee. We are very grateful for the help the owner has given us! There is a very huge garden in front and at the back of the building. We can visit the back garden from our room. It's a very nice place for a family with kids. Our kids enjoyed a lot at the garden. There is plenty of common place to have a rest.

This hostel is located by the Store Dyrehave forest, 3 km from Hillerød centre and train station. It offers sports facilities, a big nice garden, guest TV lounges and a communal kitchen.

All guest rooms at Danhostel Hillerød have private bathroom facilities. Each guest room has a work desk and a seating area. Guests can rent bed linen and towels at the hostel or choose to bring their own. Breakfast can be ordered. If desired please inform us 24 hours in advance efter own.

The quiet location, the easy check-in and check-out process and the big well equipped kitchen were the highlights for me. The place has a lot of other perks like table tennis, air hockey and foosball table, which come in handy if the weather outside is really bad.
