Booked a private room here & it was really good. Next to the road so you can hear the traffic but didn’t bother us at all. Room was clean & big enough for us. The staff at the reception were also superfriendly & helpful. And the location is ofcourse just perfect👌🏼

Located just 2 minutes' walk from the Adelaide Central Bus Station, Tequila Sunrise Hostel Adelaide is 5 minutes’ walk from Chinatown and the Central Markets. The air-conditioned rooms include bed linen and secure lockers.

Whenever I come back to Adelaide, Tequila Sunrise is the place where I’ll stay. The beds in the hostel have curtains which give you a lot more privacy plus in the capsule you have your own light and plugs. In addition there is breakfast and dinner everyday which I loved (especially the nacho salad they make every Friday). The location is amazing, everything is close by and it’s easy to visit beaches (which are more far) because the public transport stops are close by. What makes the hostel even better is the manager there, he’s always happy to help and does everything he can in order for anyone to have an amazing stay. The staff speaks english well and there is always someone who’ll help you if needed. I made a lot of friends in the hostel so I would say it’s a very social hostel as long as you are social.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Nice staff (very helpful organising your time and tourist activities to make the best of your time there, according to your needs, a and budget). Great atmosphere. Clean and comfy facilities and big, easy-to-lock lockers in the room. Well organised in general. I think, so far, the best hostel I have been to in Australia. Not the cheapest in Adelaide, but there is a good reason for that, Totally worth it.

We got upgraded to a private room as they had it available and we were there for a week, which I greatly appreciated as they didn’t have to do that. It was a big double bed and very comfortable. People in the hostel were really nice, and there was a places to chill downstairs and upstairs. The location was really good. A bus stop is literally right outside your door and public transport is really cheap. There’s also a free bus near by. Staff were really good at informing us at check in about all the good to know stuff!

A great place. It's not modern but value for money. I would happily stay over and over again. I'm looking for a clean bed and separate bathroom. They cater to all sizes of travellers. If you want perfection this is not the place for you. If you want a safe place, cheaper than others. This is it.

I stayed for a night, you’ve got everything you need for budget accomodation, if you don’t mind sharing. The common area was pretty chilled out. I didn’t use the kitchen or anything so I can’t comment on that. Great location in the heart of Adelaide and the staff seemed friendly in my short stay.

Haven Marina is opposite Colley Reserve and the Patawalonga River. 500 metres walk to restaurants and cafes, 12 minutes walk to Jetty Road. It's about $100 cheaper per night than its closest rivals, but you get what you pay for! However, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot, our room was very clean and some of the furniture had been replaced. The staff are friendly and polite. We will keep staying there as it's within our budget, everywhere else is expensive!

The receptionist when we checked out offered to get us cheaper parking. That was unexpected but probably the nicest thing about the stay. I liked that the windows opened fully, but not exactly a safe idea if you have kids and are on the upper floors.

Great location, clean rooms and comfy for a work trip. Bed was comfy and had all the necessary items but didn’t feel like a cheap and budget place to stay.
