Unfortunately for me, I fell ill with a viral infection soon upon arrival. Tina went out of her way to help me heal. Made a herbal drink that kickstarted my recovery. And was always available for any help I needed. I felt well taken care of and at home away from home. Its a perfect place to hang loose for a few days, just a stone's throw from the ocean. Scooters are available for rent to go explore the region.

The staff were exceptional, answered all our questions that we had, and assisted us with onward travel. They also booked our Ijen tour for 350K each. The breakfast was really nice. The morning we left, we left very early, before breakfast time, and without asking they packed us a takeaway breakfast which was so nice of them. Definately recommend staying here.

We also joined a tour of the Ijen organised by the guest house, which includes a local guide and the transportation to and from the guest house. The guest house in itself allows you to fully relax and recover by the pool or the small huts with comfortable sofa's. They have plenty of animals (otters, a goose, friendly cats and a dog) wandering around making you feel like you're in a national park.
