Chechi is so warm and welcoming. Her food is the best we had, she helped with transport to her homestay, for a tuk tuk to take us sight seeing one day and was very quick to respond to any questions. If you’re thinking about staying at Munnar Minds Homestay, don’t hesitate to book it! My husband and I spent two nights here and and it’s the perfect quiet place in the hills around Munnar. The city itself and all of the viewpoints are just a tuk tuk or car ride away, but you get the peace and relaxation of being in the mountains. We loved sitting out on the balcony and hearing the birds. And the room and bathroom were both spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our stay was also really positively impacted by the family feel of the place. They treated us like their own relatives- making sure we had a ride to an early morning hike, providing coffee and tea, an excellent breakfast, water, etc. We were very well taken care of and appreciated how kind everyone in the family is. We would highly recommend you stay here to get the most out of your Munnar experience.

Benny and his family were very warm and welcoming and the most excellent hosts one could conceive of. He is extremely knowledgeable about the place and his advice on which places to visit is quite invaluable. The food provided was very delicious and packaged well.Special kudos to mrs.sheeja's culinary skills. The room was neat and well furnished and is in an excellent location with a gorgeous mountain view.

This place is lovely. Amazing view; clean rooms and bathrooms; relaxed atmosphere. It is family run place, and Joe, the patriarch, owner and host is always present; knows the area well as his family is from there; is knowledgeable and engaged culturally; and is otherwise a great conversation partner! I highly recommend eating as much fruit as possible while there - grown on the property and in a garden down the hill. I would absolutely stay again.
