Yes it’s a winding drive up the mountain so you need a car but that is part of what makes it so spectacular. Amazing views from the home! Mountains and waterfalls! Warm and cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. Comfortable bed. Fully furnished living room was so cozy after a long day of exploring Nicely stocked large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals …And a wonderful jetted tub! Only 2 of us so we never even used the two bedrooms upstairs but this would be a wonderful place for families or friend get together. Also has a washer so it was great to clean everything after a weeks worth of hiking! The town is close by ( about 10 min drive) so everything is convenient. Would recommend that you book this beautiful home in a heartbeat!

The location was incredible and the cabin was beautiful, immaculate and extremely well equipped and taken care of. My wife and I travelled most of Norway and our stay here was the most memorable.

That was our first impression entering the appartement. It is modern with a sauna included. For a little extra, you can use a private jacuzzi with a roof over your head. Absolutely recommendable. The owner is very flexible, uncomplicated and helpful. We got a lot of tips and recommendations and he answered every message within seconds. I would advise everyone to book this place (if you are lucky enough and it is vacant). Would come back anytime to stay longer.

You need around 25-30 minutes to walk to the center of Flåm from here, but the walk itself is worth it every time.

Situated in Kinsarvik and only 50 km from Trolltunga, Huse Gjestegard features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has lake and river views. We were doing a Roadtrip and this was such an amazing place for a nightly break. 10/10 for the owner, such a nice person. The location was so beautifully detailed. We recommend staying here :)
