This is an absolutely perfect place. It is set up like home, beautifully furnished with antiques and art. It’s great for cooking in with a fridge and all cooking supplies. There are towels, soap, toilet paper and sheets. It’s on the same little street as the biggest Abbey in France, a beautiful place to visit. We saw a night sound and music display there from 10-12 pm, amazing. The village is quiet and close to Saumur (champignon caves, pommes tapping, home of Triple Sec distillery, and a chateau and boat tours), Chateau Breze (with very interesting deep moat, caves and wine tasting), and Chinon (Sunday market and a must-see medieval town). We stayed 3 nights and wished we stayed at least a week. It’s a good base for many discoveries. There are wine places and a soap making place with museum nearby. We ate at a restaurant called Licorne three doors down - excellent! Make reservations.

The pictures of the outside area and the pool didn't do justice to how truly amazing it was. The view from the balcony was fantastic, so calm and peaceful overlooking the woods. beautiful in summer, and I imagine lovely in cooler months too. Alex was also super helpful, and the wine was a tasty surprise. Conveniently placed to visit the local attractions too.

Fantastic location in the village, looking out over the Loire and Montsoreau Chateau. The pool is well-kept and warm, and the rooms are very comfortable. Camelia and Joel are lovely, friendly hosts who took the trouble to explain how everything worked in the house. The house is well-furnished and sparkling clean.

Preciós allotjament, tal i com surt a les fotos. La Sophie ens va rebre a la plaça de l'església del poble. Allà s'aparca el cotxe gratuitament, està a uns 50 metres de la casa. Ella ens va ensenyar tot l'allotjament i viu a l'altra banda del jardí, així que si hi ha algun problema et pot venir a ajudar (no sabíem encendre els fogons). La casa és molt àmplia i té 2 habitacions amb llits per 4 persones. La cuina està ben equipada i la calefacció és ràpida i potent. És un allotjament totalment nou.
