Situated within 1.8 km of The Bridge of the River Kwai and 2.1 km of The Jeath War Museum, Siam Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kanchanaburi. Amazing place for a short or long stay in Kanchanaburi. The guesthouse was decorated in a cool/fun way, with a pound, tables to eat or work and a chill area. Rooms are very spacious, clean, the ac worked perfectly and wifi was super fast! The owner is amazing, super helpful all the time. He helped us to rent a scooter the right amount of time that we needed and also with a lot of tips/advice because we where there during songkran. He make us the favor of keeping our bags until we took the bus so they didn't get wet. If we come back to Kanchanaburi we will stay again here.

Offering a non-smoking property, Jim Guest House provides an on-site a la carte restaurant serving Thai food. This is a great place to stay in Kanchanaburi. Lovely place with peaceful garden and pool. It's close to everything and yet just outside of the noisy part so great for a good night's sleep. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Prepared to do anything to help and speaks good English.. Really enjoyed lots of tasty and fresh fruit at breakfast along with choice of eggs. Would thoroughly recommend this place. Really good value and everything was super clean. Also had great air conditioning.

P.Y. Guest House is 200 meres from JEATH War Museum. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and free drinking water. Owners were wonderful and helped us with renting a bike and giving us great recommendations! Also location is good if you have a bike!! Also, the free transport to the bus was so kind of the owner.

Majitelia boli veľmi milí a ochotní so všetkým nám pomôcť.Dokonca nás aj vyzdvihli od autobusu.Pozicali sme si u nich aj motorky ktoré boli vo výbornom stave.Byvali sme v utulnom novo postavenom bungalove. Izba krásna veľká a čistá.Klima chladila výborne.Vsetko potrebné bolo na izbe.Plne vybavená kuchynka vonku aj s chladničkou.Prijemne tiché prostredie.A výborné raňajky.Vrelo všetkým odporúčam.Ak by som mohla dať vyššie hodnotenia ..Určite dám aspoň 10+++++.Radi prídeme aj na budúce.

A very friendly couple is running this small resort. It is quite remote and I arrived late so I was extremely glad I was offered a proper meal -very much appreciated... Breakfast on the terrace was also very nice...

Everything perfect. We ride bicycles to the other side of the river very easily because the house located near pier. When we came back from riding, we are surprised with the basket full of mangoes putting in front of the door. We highly recommend and very appreciayed to stay here. If we have a chance to go to Kanjanaburi we will stay here again.

Ownerd are super friendly and helpful. The room is clean. The beds are comfy and wide. There are many electric sockets to charge everyone's phones and more. There are two shower rooms. It is a wonder at such a cheap price.

Offering a sun terrace and water sports facilities, Sweet Home Floating House is set in Ban Lum Le. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Some units include views of the lake or garden. Quiet environment, stunning views, friendly and hospitable staff. We had such a peaceful time, it was like being in heaven. Definitely one of the loveliest accommodations in Kanchanaburi. We would love to come back again!

Set amidst rural landscapes, Ban Sabai Sabai offers the experience of living in a Thai village. Just 5 minutes’ walk from River Kwai, it features a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. The guesthouse has a beautiful garden and community kitchen and the room had a balcony with a nice view. The guesthouse owners were super friendly. They helped me with everything I needed and gave me a lift to the bus stop when it was time to leave. We also had some nice chats and I had a very good time staying at their place.

Basic breakfast is pretty simple but we receied something extra every day, apparently common with the family breakfast. For those looking for authentic Thai homestay, simple, clean, with nice and smiley staff, this is a great choice.
