What a lovely surprise Soltagtgarden was on our trip. We came at the beginning of Spring and were treated with a glorious snowfall that made for a magical landscape on our doorstep. The location is just outside of Tallberg, with a view over the lake from our bedroom window. It was very quiet when we stayed, and enjoyed the sauna facilities, and deck area to read our books upon. Our room was self contained which was great, we had wine and cheese and cooked ourselves a pasta dinner. We spent our days walking down to the lake and exploring the local area - down snowy wooded trails past the cute little villages. It was like out of a postcard! Just gorgeous.

Hans, the very friendly and helpful host, called us, when we'll arrive. As it was not possible to get a roadside service, he sent his grandson to collect us from the road, supported us in getting the car repaired again and cooked us a meal in the evening. Many thanks to Hans and his grandson!
