Situated in Viseu, a 5-minute walk from the city centre, Casa da Torre - Viseu features accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and parking are also available. The owners of this new, historical hotel were wonderfully accommodating and kind. We arrived to to beautifully restored grounds, with easy parking. Each room is named after an archaeological discovery of the quirky man who used to live here. The rooms were quiet and well-designed, and there is also a comfortable shared space for work or leisure. It's a short walk to the center of Viseu, where we enjoyed all the recommendations of the hotel staff! Breakfast was delicious, generous, and fully customizable,including local specialities. Highly recommend this local gem!

An oasis near beautiful Coimbra with a lot of family history and attention to detail. Luis and his staff make you feel at home instantly and once you pass through the gate, you are on holiday. We enjoyed every moment in this very special place - we would highly recommend it. While it is not in the center of Coimbra, it is only a short distance away (Euro 5 with Uber and less than 10 minutes) - and we liked being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Luis serves a wonderful breakfast with fruits and vegetables from his communal farm. And when you open that bottle of Rosé by the pool in the afternoon, life is just good.

Awesome location across the bridge in Santa Clara. A few little restaurants/bars/gelaterias there that are perfect for a quick meal. But also only a quick 5min walk over the bridge to get to downtown Coimbra and all the action over there. Also both hosts we met were lovely and accommodated everything we needed.

I travel in Portugal a lot and this has been hands down one of the cleanest, most beautiful apartments I've ever stayed at. Communication and check-in was super easy. The kitchen was probably better equipped than mine at home ;) Damp can be a problem in Portugal, but it wasn't here... it sounds silly, but everything smelled so good! There's daily, efficient and unobtrusive housekeeping if you like. Regarding the stairs - stairs are in great condition and wide, 500% better than most staircases in the country, but yes, there's no lift for those with mobility issues.

Marina Charming House offers accommodation in the heart of Figueira da Foz, a 3-minute walk from Casino Figueira. The property boasts a terrace and views of the sea, the marina and the Mondego river. We stayed 3 friends in a huge room with very comfy beds and private bathroom. The best part of the room was a small private yard that we had our breakfast (which was amazing also) there every morning. The stuff was very friendly also!! I definitely recommended it!
