Everything was perfect from the beautiful stair and halls to the exquisite room, the roof terrace on the fifth floor with an excellent view over the city. Impeccable cleanliness, spacious room, perfect firmness on the mattress, the pillows, the view over the street, the bathroom, the towels, all the little details and, not to forget, the personable owner. There is an elevator, though I would gladly take those beautiful wood stairs.

Situated in Viseu, a 5-minute walk from the city centre, Casa da Torre - Viseu features accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and parking are also available. The owners of this new, historical hotel were wonderfully accommodating and kind. We arrived to to beautifully restored grounds, with easy parking. Each room is named after an archaeological discovery of the quirky man who used to live here. The rooms were quiet and well-designed, and there is also a comfortable shared space for work or leisure. It's a short walk to the center of Viseu, where we enjoyed all the recommendations of the hotel staff! Breakfast was delicious, generous, and fully customizable,including local specialities. Highly recommend this local gem!
