Lovley people. Nice and warm welcome. Shaluka and his family made our stay. The master chef made sure that we had an awsome stay, cooked really good food for us every morgning/night, grilled fish to not forget! And really helpful with everything. Room was very clean and the whole place was well orginized :) Glad we choosed/found this place for our stay, close to safari. We will def come back next time we visit Sri Lanka :)

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. We booked one night here, so we can reach Yala Park in the morning. The host is very polite and a pleasant person overall, always with a big smile on his face. I recommend both booking the Safari with this host and ordering dinner here. The Food was delicious!!

Boasting river views, Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. It was by far the best accommodation on our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The room, bathroom and balcony were huge and super clean. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. It is very nice and quiet. The safari was super organized with breakfast and drinks. But the best thing about the accommodation is definitely Mithila we have rarely met such a kind and gorgeous person. She really organizes everything and has an open ear for all our wishes. Takes care of the food order, safari, enough water and even the laundry. We had a lot of problems with our arrival due to New Year and she supported us the whole time. Many thanks again to you! We had such a great time with you ♥️

Set in Tangalle, 400 metres from Tangalle Beach, Heaven in Satinwoods offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Dumee and his staff are absolutely incredible and make your stay unique! It's the best accommodation I've ever had. When I arrived, they welcomed me with a flower necklace and a fresh juice. The whole crew went kayaking with me to a beautiful lagoon (for only 1000 lkr) and they also took me to my surfing lessons by motorbike. My room and balcony were really big and they cleaned them and decorated my room with flowers every day! Breakfast and dinner were always a lovingly garnished three-course menu and they also let me help them cooking :) Additionally, they made juices, tea and coffee in the afternoonfor me for free! I'll definitely come back to this amazing place

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Such a wondeful place to stay. The host is so helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange a safari with a very good guide and took us around to local attractions like birdwatching and batwatching and made getting to and from Tissa easy. Good food and clean room.

The family was amazingly welcoming and super helpful with all you could ask for. They took great care of us, starting with a tour around the lake with Tharindu, they offered coffee and some local fruits of their garden, we had great talks with the family. We even saw Crocs from the garden!! We loved the garden of the house, so cute!! We would always come back for sure. we also booked the Safari with tharindu which was super cool trip, highly recommend it to book with him :-)

Incredible place - cozy, exotic, calm with tropical off grid atmosphere. I've never stayed at a cabin with 9.6 rate on booking.com but when we arrived, I understood why it had such a great score. The cabine is right next to a beautiful lake. We had our own crocodile!!!! relaxing under our balcony. No worries, it's safe. They don't go ashore because of the fence so it's just a very nice Croc-view :) . The cabin itself was exotic to the max but quite comfortable. The toilet and shower were very clean, a small ventilator made the air inside a bit less hot so our northern bodies could go to sleeping mode, the bad was wide and there was a mosquito net, even though there was not many mosquitos inside. Special thanks to the host family! Incredibly social, nice and kind people. Very tasty, super original food on a small cozy terrace with local dishes, free water in bottles. If we come back to Sri Lanka we will definitely stay there again! Unforgettable experience!

WE LOVED THIS PEACEFUL AND FRIENDLY PLACE, THE WHOLE FAMILY HELPED US WITH EACH PROBLEM AND SERVED VERY GOOD FOOD AND DRINKS!THE BEST GUESTHOUSE OF OUR WHOLE JOURNEY!WE GOT FREE BICYCLES AND THE TRANSPORT TO THE BUS STATION. THANK YOU VERY MUCH DEAR FAMILY! WE WILL COME AGAIN!!

Featuring a private beach area and views of mountain, Cinnabar Resort is a recently renovated guest house set in Tangalle, a few steps from Tangalle Beach. I loved the treehouse! The pool area was fantastic, the food was amazing, not having air con wasn’t a problem as it was cool up in the trees.
