We like to travel a lot and for sure this is one of the best places we have ever visited. Situated next to the river with the most beautiful views. All the persons working here made our stay very special, making music at night and playing cardgames with the kids. The food also was delicious. We did three different excursions (village tour, jungle trek for 2 days and bat cave) and everything was very well organized. Also from the moment you make the reservation, there is a very good contact with the host for all your questions. We definitely want to return one day.

Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!

Let me stay in a slightly more expensive room inside without paying the difference and got a ride back to the guesthouse from the city center at night. I wasn’t there for long but definitely felt it was a good deal for the price. It is pretty far from the center of butik lawang. You can walk it in 20min or get a tuktuk for 30rp. The walk is nice. You get to see another side to the area.
