The bungalows are absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable for the concept. The bed and aircon will assure a great night sleep and the pool is small but absolutely beautiful (the views are amazing!!). The whole place is decorated beautifully and it really feels like a little piece of paradise. Bobby (the host) is sweet and very attentive and made us a beautiful floating breakfast the first morning we were there - an amazing experience. The sorrounding landscape and villages are just stunning too. I wished we had stayed longer!

El servicio muy amable. Lugar tranquilo, te hacen sentir mejor que en casa. Las chicas de la recepción enteradas de todo. Very helpful and generous. 10 estrellas. Desayuno rico, fresco. Y tienen vino y cerveza en la carta, alcohol no se encuetra facimente en la zona. Muy recomendable, si volvemos a Borobudur, nos quedamos ahí.

El 44 Guest House Syariah ofrece vistas a la ciudad y alojamiento con balcón a unos 21 km de Owabong. Guesthouse 44 was my second home for a week in Purwokerto. The room was not spacious, but it had all necessary appliances and good air conditioning. A double room was just enough for my luggage, so I suggest if you travel with a partner, get a bigger room, the price is really affordable. The bathroom might surprise you, because it has no sink, just a shower, and no mirror, which is somewhat inconvenient. The room was sparkling clean, the bed sheets and the towels smelled amazing, it was regularly cleaned and supplied with bottled water every day. As a foreigner, you might get some special treatment, as the managers are really caring and put in a lot of effort to be of best service. The breakfast is abundant, if you don't like the local style, they'll prepare you some pancakes, omelette and steamed vegetables, so as to make sure you don't go out hungry. It is a good idea to bring some small present for the lady and her husband who run the hotel (they are about 60) - it will make their day. At their place you will surely feel as a part of a big family. Please bear in mind, that although the hotel is near the city center, you cannot walk in Purwokerto, since the streets are bustling with cars and motorcycles and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walking is really dangerous, so better take a taxi. And speaking of taxies, I can recommend this nice young taxi driver in Jakarta, working for the Bluebird company, who speaks perfect English and is a very honest and helpful person: +62 852-1258-2235 (Willy). You may contact him on WhatsApp in advance, and he'll pick you up at the airport, without an extra fee. I had to bargain with many taxi drivers when I arrived in Jakarta in order to get an almost fair price, while this one trusts his meter, so no need to worry. Good luck with your adventure!

In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably

We LOVED our stay at the Loyal Friend Hostel. The hostel is cosy, there's plenty of space to chill and having breakfast in the morning on the terrace is just perfect. The room is clean, the bed is good and there's fresh mountain water coming out of the shower. Jahe, the hostel manager, is amazing and will help you with anything like renting scooters, booking snorkel tours or transport. We stayed 1 week in the hostel, but we could easily spend months here! Location is perfect: close to the harbour and main road with loads of places to have local or western food or coffee. We highly recommend staying at the Loyal Friend Hostel!!

El Deepsky Villa se encuentra en Karimunjawa y ofrece restaurante, bar, salón compartido y jardín. El alojamiento, construido en 2018, se encuentra a 1,4 km de Sunset Beach. We loved every minute of our stay. Our bungalow was very well equipped and the view from the terrace over the wonderful garden was simply priceless. The owners and staff (especially Asty) were very attentive, always available and organized everything when needed (ferry tickets, a scooter, medical care when we were sick). We have rarely experienced such warmth. That there was muesli with yoghurt for breakfast was a really welcome change! 🥰 If you are not in the mood to go to town for dinner, you can enjoy delicious food at Deepsky Villa. In addition, the location is unbeatable, close to the beautiful beaches, you can get to town in just a few minutes by scooter, but above all it is heavenly quiet. Even though we were there for 7 nights, we were sad that we had to leave.
