Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!

Set in Takeley and with Hatfield Forest reachable within 5 km, Old Thatch Bambers Green offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a garden. Delightful restored B&B . Everything was In working order. Nice lift to the airport in the morning!

Situated in the quiet hamlet of Littley Green in the heart of the Essex countryside, The Compasses is a Victorian Pub steeped in history and tradition. Everything about the property was brilliant as it usually is. Lovely setting, lovely food, lovely room and friendly staff.

Just a minute's walk to West Cliff Beach, Clacton-On-Sea town centre and Clacton-On-Sea pier, The Sandrock has free WiFi. A full English breakfast is freshly cooked and served every morning. We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful accommodation. The lady running the House was very friendly and flexible. We booked the wrong options when booking online but it was sorted out in no time. Breakfast is gorgeous, the rooms very clean and the location is very quiet. Thanks for the nice stay!
