Set in Seaham, No.16 is a historic guest house that offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy water sports facilities and a garden. Was a bit dubious when I booked as it seemed such a cheap price... but was actually a really great place. Parking outside, big room with lovely modern bathroom and really close to the beach and cafes.

Set in Durham and within 15 km of Beamish Museum, 40Winks has a terrace, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi. The 40Winks guesthouse in Durham exceeding my expectations. The guesthouse is situated perfectly in order to have access to the Durham city center, but also feel out of the bustle of the city. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make us comfortable and ensure we enjoyed our stay. I cannot recommend them enough!

A family run business who make you feel warm and welcome from the time you book until you leave. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the local area. I feel I have to mention the very high standard of food. Its not the run of the mill bar food here. Its food fitting of a Manor house. I only wish we had stayed longer to try everything on the menu. All very reasonably priced as well. Real ale behind the bar and an open log fire. Large selection of drinks and food all day and the breakfast was spot on. Whether you are looking for a place to stay or after a meal with a proper local feel then you won't be let down if you give the Manor House a try. Well worth a visit.

Situated in Durham, Castle View Guesthouse features 4-star accommodation with private terraces. It is located 25 km from Stadium of Light and provides a housekeeping service. Beautifully appointed,large room. The breakfast room was lovely. Everything worked well and it was quiet yet close to everything. A very comfortable and welcoming place. The breakfast was very nice and freshly cooked.

The ship inn's location/accommodation/gardens and breakfast was excellent, couldn't ask for nicer,such welcoming hosts my wife and I felt like we were part of the furniture and most certainly will be coming back again 😃

Boasting a hot tub, Stunning 2 Bedroom Guest House with Hot Tub is set in Durham. The property was built in 19th century and has accommodation with a patio. Absolutely fantastic place to stay , exceptionally clean , and nothing was too much bother ! Would definitely recommend this place and no doubt will definitely be visiting again in the future!
