I am grateful to all the staff from the hostel for their attention and care, especially Marco. I hope I can come back one day

Accommodation is completely authentic Dong Village guest rooms, plus excellent air con, showers, beds etc. Really thoughtful and high quality renovation, maintaining all of the local features whilst also providing great comfort. Helpful and smiley hospitality provided by Xiao Chen with quality breakfasts and coffee for those who need the morning surge. It is such a beautiful area. The villages have retained their historic feel and there is some truly gorgeous hiking through a nearby valley with rice terraces and tea plantations. Local people are genuinely welcoming and friendly and there is great food to be had in the local family restaurants. This was my second visit. I will undoubtedly return.

Junshe Boutique Guest House provides comfortable accommodation in Guilin, conveniently located just 1 km away from Seven Star Park. Everything was good, my room was ready when I got there, room was nice and clean, I like the design, breakfast was delicious

Best place I’ve stayed at in a long time. Jason and his wife helped me arrange transportation, answered all question I had about everything I needed and much more. The food was delicious. Rooms were clean, spacious with great view. Connected me with people to help rest of my travels.

We had a great stay at The Giggling Tree. Alice, Helene and the rest of the team were super helpfull and gave us great tips (especially one viewpoint at sunset really stood out and we would have never gotten there without Alice's help!). Offering a restaurant and free bikes, Zen Box House is located in Jiuxian Village, 9 km from Yangshuo city centre. Loved the laid back vibe of the village and the hotel. I was after a retreat from the city and that’s exactly what I got, didn’t want to leave! 老张 is very hospitable - always checking if you’re hungry and then will whip something up in the kitchen. Another guest that arrived said they wanted to hike some of the nearby hills so 老张 was like, ‘let’s go!’ and took us - the entrance is through someone else’s kitchen/back garden so we’d never have got access ourselves. He also mentioned he could take us to places to swim, climb etc. Really love the village atmosphere, everyone knows each other and knows the secret routes/best food spots. Reminded me of my rural village community in the UK. I was able to borrow 老张‘s road bike and cycled to the river to catch one of the rafts, it’s about a ~30min leisurely cycle to get there. There are cycle/foot paths along the river too, so another nice way to experience the scenery. The hotel itself is very quaint. I had one of the Japanese style single rooms and was very happy there, it looks exactly like the picture. They will pre-heat the bed for you in the colder months, nice touch! Water, tissues, towel etc all provided. The toilets and showers are just downstairs, a 10 second walk, and are very pleasant. The toilets are the Japanese ones with heated seats etc. The other helper is also lovely, and she packed my rucksack with fresh pomelo when I set off for my cycle excursion. They grow pomelo etc. beside the house, and also have chickens so eggs fresh too. Loved the rooftop, very zen and great view over the hills. They also have some friendly cats. Will 100% return.

The reception was so nice, she showed us the all the sites to visit around XingPing. I lost my phone and couldn't book the train tickets, she helped me. Really nice place.
