Set in Mount Gambier and with Blue Lake reachable within 2 km, Mount Gambier Hotel offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Checkin is at the bar, all went fine. There's a big parking lot you can use behind the hotel. There was a slight mishap with our room, which was however handled in a very professional way and immediately corrected. The room is quite large and rather new, with a big bathroom and ample space for our luggage. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs with a nice choice of wines and there's also the possibility to order a breakfast in the morning. The location is right in the middle of downtown, perfect to walk around the city but the rooms are really quiet, even though the main road is just next to the hotel. Loved the town itself, there's a lot of history here, but also interesting geology in downtown and close by with the lakes. Worth a stop.

Boasting garden views, Maunder Cottage features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 38 km from The Beachouse. Oh my the SNACKS! This cottage was so well stocked we couldn't believe it. Also had a lovely soak in the big tub. Cosy and delightful. Walking distance to the shops too, perfect location.

All of the makings were provided for a self catering breakfast, including lovely fresh eggs from the resident chickens. Self catering was good as you could have breakfast exactly when wanted at at your pace, and as much or as little as you liked. The standard of the accommodation was exceptional, with all needs catered for. The property is surrounded by magnificent gardens with lots of native birdlife. Our hosts Graham and Heather could not do enough to ensure our comfort. The property is well located in central Strathalbyn.

Located in Mount Barker, A Suite Spot in the Hills features tranquil surroundings. The property also has a terrace and every room is equipped with a patio with private garden views. It was a very nice place to stay. It lives up to it's name and was perfect for a weekend getaway

Attention to detail to ensure your stay is comfortable. Our host was so helpful in sharing information to help us arrange a Taxi to pick us up for our winery lunch. Perfect place to relax as you soak up this beautiful region.

KI Dragonfly Guesthouse is a privately owned and hosted guesthouse located in Kingscote on Kangaroo Island. Free parking, WiFi and luggage storage is included. The owners are the best guesthouse hosts I have ever had. Just wonderful people who really care about you. The place is lovely snd comfortable.

Set in Victor Harbor, 700 metres from Victor Harbour Beach and 21 km from Coorong Quays Hindmarsh Island, Seaside Aura offers a private beach area and air conditioning. Very private space as part of a bigger property, gorgeous gardens, well appointed and very considered space (a blanket to snuggle under, good crockery, sound-bar etc). Brilliant for morning walks and you can hear the sea as soon as you step outside.

A recently renovated guest house situated in Burra, Gardenhouse on George features a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. I liked the creative, artistic vibe of the cottage. It was also immaculately clean, quality bathroom products and interesting objects. Priced very reasonably. I gave it 'fabulous'!

It was a small cozy house and the swimming pool in the front is beautiful. The place had all the basic amenities which makes it perfect for a family trip.
