The beds were heated when we arrived and the room was warm. The view was amazing and it was very easy to locate the property. The host was amazing and friendly we chatted for a while! So many amenities such as bike and stand up paddle board. Close to many food places and 7/11. Swans were friendly and greeted us near the lake.

A cosy place to stay. Felt like home to me. I travelled from Yokohama and the highway bus stopped right next to this guesthouse. Highway bus to Tokyo also stops at the same bus stop and that is very convenient. Their bike rental rate is one of the cheapest too! Thank you so much Marino and Kei for the hospitality💕 I would definitely be back in the future to hike up the trails around Yamanakako 🗻

The hostess honestly made the stay fantastic. Her attitude was so welcoming, she explained the facilities in simple Japanese for us, and gave us recommendations not only for the town, but for the Fuji area as well. I've stayed in a few ryokans before, but this was the best experience by far. We also had the Fuji-view room, which I recommend getting! We went in the late fall for viewing leaves in town, so it got quite chilly at night, but the room stayed toasty. I slept so well. The bath was also spacious, good amenities, and just the right amount of time to stay in.

They were lovely hosts. They helped with transportation from the bus stop and to the lakeside. Prepared nice vegetarian food. I enjoyed my time very much, and especially the visit up to the panoramic viewpoint before they dropped me at the station to return to tokyo.

The host Marie is absolutely fabulous and most helpful. She picked me up at the bus station and offered to bring me back. Guests can use bikes to get around. The room is spacious with good AC. I loved the traditional bathroom and the Japanese breakfast she offers for 1,000 Yen. Very peaceful and quiet place. Highly recommended!

The host was very polite. The view from our room is spectacular. We could see Mt. Fuji right in front of our window. We also got to enjoy the fireworks that apparently happened the first time.Rooms are very spacious and clean.
