What a host! I have never stayed in a guest house with such a welcoming and engaging host. I really felt like the owner and host cared about their guests a lot and made their stay very pleasant. I really enjoyed engaging with the other guests in this guesthouse, which enables people to get to know each other during breakfast, at the bar or in the common room. The facilities were nicely designed and decorated. Despite the distance to the centre of Sapporo, I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to everyone. Additionally, the shorter distance to Teine Olympia and Highland Ski Resort and Otaru is very convenient. This guesthouse is perfectly located in between Sapporo Downtown and Otaru, which both are worth a visit.

I loved everything in this hostel! The owner and the staff were very nice. They helped me bring my luggage to my room and always poured me water when I needed to refill my bottle. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. The hostel is very cozy and clean. It can get challenging to go to the hostel from the train station especially when you have a luggage but aside from that, everything was perfect and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in sapporo :)

I felt welcomed in this place and all thanks to great Yoshie! The whole building is not that big but it is cozy. It is clean, comfortable beds and relatively close to central part of the city. I will come back again.

Great location, very welcoming and organized host. Everything there was very practical and enjoyed the free Miso soup a lot! Super clean as well!

Kudo-san I will never forget such a kind and helpful host I have ever had. For such a non-expensive option I think this place and its keeper really did exceed my expectations. The owner really did come to pick up from the station when I arrived in the evening, then made a nice little breakfast every morning, then also helped many times with how to go to certain tourist locations. Had wonderful time spending at Shabby House and with its vintage vibes! My room was not large but just good for one person with nice comfy bed. I genuinely recommend this place.

The guesthouse facilities were very cozy, convenient, and well-maintained, looking brand new. The owner, who had a bright smile, was quick to respond to anything we needed, which made us feel very comfortable. The guesthouse was well-equipped with everything we needed for our trip and was located in a quiet area, which made us feel relaxed. The Sapporo Municipal Observatory and Riyahiko Shrine are very close by. A stroll through the surrounding residential neighborhoods provides a cozy atmosphere. The guesthouse is a 5-minute walk from Nairomakoen subway station. Highly recommended!

Recently renovated apartment, which was also cleaned very well. Very good location walking distance from the Otaru Park and Susikino (Snow Festival locations). The dining/kitchen area is spacious and well equipped. Very nice hosts - they managed to arrange early check-in for us and communication was excellent.

Spacious, excellent for big groups. No feeling of being cramped. Close to a subway, and close to iceskating and on onsen. The staff were extremely kind and caring, which was really the big cherry on top.

I don't have any complaints. My situation might be different than most people booking since I was the only one there but I found the place very clean and nice. I really enjoyed my time there!
