Clean and spacious. We booked both floors for a family of five. Kids loved their own space upstairs. Breakfast was great too. The hosting family is very friendly.

We had a great time at the guesthouse Lyndhoft. The room was specious and the bathrooms were modern. We were even able to wash our clothes as the owner let us use her washing machine and dryer in the basement! Everything was great. We recommend the guesthouse Lyndhoft!

The house was warmly decorated and room was comfortable. Toiletries exceeded expectation as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were provided. Most Icelandic hotels provided shampoo/body wash (2 in 1 type). Breakfast was good with homemade bread. Enjoyed Ljón's (cat) company and the dogs were so friendly and fun. We had a great experience to visit the sheep barn as well.

It is very nicely furnished, very cozy and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I'm in the area. Nearby is an excellent informal restaurant.
