We spent the evening chatting over his exceptional pizza and wine. The homestead is very clean, quiet and has all the amenities. The fridge was stocked with bacon, eggs, bread and all the extras needed for breakfast. It's a great location to base a weekend in the Adelaide Hills or Barossa Valley for an adventure. You will not be disappointed!

The Stables cotttage is an interesting change from the ordinary. The atmosphere is relaxing, charming and cosy. We apreciated the care taken to provide a welcoming home away from home and some treats and basic supplies which were a lovely surprise. There are lots of wineries and interesting small towns a short drive away or you can just relax in the garden.

It is very comfortable and has all of the extras that you need for a memorable stay, including freshly baked bread and honey made on site. It is in a great location to explore the Barossa Valley and surrounding areas. Evelyn is a great host and made us very welcome.
