We received access to the property with a passcode via Whatsapp. Everything went smoothly.

You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Located 7 km from the town of Stellenbosch, Gemoedsrus Farm features views of the surrounding winelands and offers amenities including an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. Absolutely lovely stay just outside Stellenbosch. Excellent views, gorgeous house, lovely owner and staff.

We absolutely loved staying at Oudebosch Guest farm. The accommodation was so comfortable, the views of the mountains were awe inspiring, lovely pool as well. The cherry on top of the cake however, was the morning horse ride we did with Linda, we are absolute beginners, but Linda and her horses made it seem effortless. Such a lovely ride and wonderful stay.

We met both Dale and Brandon. Excellent host and extremely helpful. The staff were excellent and helpful. Nonnetjies is a great bungalow to choose from (we saw Parent and Baby owl right next to the stoop) The warm water dip pool is excellent and clean with enough firewood to keep it roaringly hot!
