Majerca is a beautiful boutique hotel that really felt like a classy secret hideaway. Things to love about it include the stunning location, beautifully designed space, incredible restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk along a quiet forest road from the nearest bus stop. It has a huge green garden adjoining the terrace/restaurant and the most gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. This is a small hotel with just a handful of staff, but they are really nice people, particularly the guys running the restaurant. Speaking of which - dinner here is a must (there are not many options in the area anyway). The food is maybe the best I ever had in a hotel restaurant - the nduja pork belly is stunningly tasty. I think the menu rotates, but you can't go wrong. Vegetarian options are strong too, and the breakfast was also a wonderful way to kick off the day (again, very friendly service and superb coffee). The rooms are huge and the beds unbelievably comfortable. Our en-suite had a bath (!) which was a fabulous touch. The hotel has mountain bikes you can borrow for free to go for a ride around the lake or up into the hills. Other hotels would charge for this - it speaks a lot to Majerca's excellence that it was available at no cost. I'd stay there again without question and will tell my friends and family to pass by too.

The apartment was really nice, very clean, and had all the facilities we needed. Owner and staff were extremely nice and friendly. Location was great both for the lake and navigating to other attractions. We will be very happy to come back here.

Amazing place. Superb location. Beautiful view. The apartment itself is one of the best I have ever been to. Worth it's price. If you can afford it, this is the place to spend the whole holidays. It actually exceeds expectations. The person looking after the object speaks decent English and was available with a telephone. I stayed in the ground floor apartment (June 2022): The restroom is an open space with a kitchen an a big big dining table that would accomodate 6 people. Huge windows with iron automatic blends give you possibility to dim the light inside or make it very bright. Big terrace door give you access to a roofed terrace exposed to the west. It has additional curtains for shading if the late afternoon sun is too much (we spent most of our leisure time there, breakfasts and dinners). It has a splendid view to the western end of the valley and the lake. Paragliders hover over the lake every day. Kitchen has a toaster, coffe machine, a cooker, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle and multiple other wares if you are a cook and want to perform your art. Bedroom is superb - it is spacy and cosy. Huge and very comfortable bed with clean and soft sheets. Warderobes. Bathroom is big (again) and very clean: it has an open shower, and a big mirror. Water always warm. (water is drinkable btw) A private sauna and a fireplace (we did not use those as the weather was warm) The surroundings are very calm. Walking trail going next to the house so the tourists and the locals would smile to you and say hello on occasions (while you are chilling on the tarrace). Be cautious if you come here in a big car - the ground road going there is quite narrow and flanked with stony edges (for 10 meters) but i have managed not to scratch my Sportage. 5 min walking to the lake. 15 min walking to Rybcev Laz centre. Access to dozens of hiking paths. Owners would not interfere. No kids in vicinity.

She let us stay a bit longer, because we were tired after a three days hike, and suggested that we leave our car nearby, while we were away :) The apartment was perfect, we had a big balcony with a mountain view 🤩 Absolutely recommended!

Fantastic hosts to start with. when I got to the apartment it was better than I expected, that’s always great. Plenty of cookware, sharp knives, dishes, etc. They even got a Moka coffee maker because I asked if there was one at the apartment. Very enjoyable stay.

Tanja and her mom are amazing hosts, they take care of every detail. They make you feel as if you are part of the family. Breakfast was incredible! The sunset and sunrise from the accommodation are outstanding! I highly recommend stayed here.
