Casa Velha do Palheiro Relais & Chateaux is a 5-star manor house hotel situated in the old Palheiro Gardens in the foothills of Funchal. Words simply cannot convey how wonderful our experience was. The resort is stunning, the service is superior, the food is extraordinary, and there are so many thoughtful and meaningful touches that make this truly an experience instead of just a vacation. We received champagne, scrumptious desserts. The hotel staff quickly memorized our names and always greeted us warmly. Thanks to Luis(team), Sergio, Vanessa and Diana. The food is the absolute best we've ever eaten. We didn't want to leave and are already thinking about a return trip in the coming months!

Featuring mountain views, Funchal High View provides accommodation with balcony, around 6.3 km from Marina do Funchal. I loved the view first of all. Also the house was spacious and very well furnished. The beds were average. The kitchen itself had almost anything you'd want! I couldn't try the pool since it was too cold during my stay (January 2024), but it did look good. Loved my stay overall

Great Location with amazing views! Everything was very tidy and we felt like at home. Funchal is only a few minutes away, definitely the best spot to explore the island. Situated in Funchal, within 2 km of Almirante Reis Beach and 4 km of Marina do Funchal, Quinta São Gonçalo features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. We absolutely loved our stay here. The house and gardens are stunning, we particularly enjoyed spending time on the balcony and walking around the banana plantation. The bed was super comfy! Communication was exceptional and they were able to accommodate our early arrival time. Thank you!

We immediately fell in love with the view, it's breathtaking. The apartment is nice, spacious and the terrace offers lots of space to relax. Localization is perfect - close to the city center, but you can also easily reach the main road to other cities.
