Let’s start with the basics: the hotel is located in my personal favorite area of Bagan - the border of Nyaung U and Old Bagan, which is walkable, full of restaurants and pubs, and centrally located between the monuments and the river. The property is beautiful and meticulously cleaned; the bathrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Next: the staff is FANTASTIC. Mr. Min runs the hotel and will help you seamlessly plan out your trip/ coordinate and provide any recommendations you need. The restaurant’s two cooks make scrumptious food and I couldn’t get enough of the filling Burmese breakfast. Everyone else, from support staff to cleaning staff, is extremely welcoming and helpful. There’s a generosity here that I can’t quite describe, the kind you have for family members you really care about and don’t see often. Come here to be a valued guest and experience it for yourself.
