The location is great. This hotel is in the Minatomirai area, which is where most attractions lie. You can walk to some beautiful parks, museums, shops and views of the bay very easily. There is a metro station right outside, and another JR line station is 10 minutes away on foot. A great supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops can also easily be found in the first floor of the building. Speaking of which, this hotel has simply stunning views. It doesn't really matter which direction your room is facing. At 47 stories high (at least), looking outside your room feels awe-inducing. If you're lucky, you will get a nice view to Mount Fuji as well! I believe this may be the second tallest building in Yokohama, and it definitely is top 30 in the entire country at 250 meters high. The staff is great, lounge is really classy and placed right in the middle of an actual observation deck (underrated though, so not crowded at all). Rooms are super spacious for Japanese standards, and of excellent build quality. Room cleaning is thorough and suited to your schedule, at least in my experience. Bed is super comfortable, and the desk is great for working a bit in your laptop if you need to edit photos or send emails.

Situated right in front of Yamashita Park and looking out to the Yokohama Bay, Hotel New Grand is a renowned classic hotel with nearly a century of first-class hospitality. The location is perfect, very close to China Town, beautiful ocean view where we can see the cruise ship that we just disembark. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is outstanding. Chief concierge, Ms Ikue Sato and concierge Ms Kaeko Kono were very professional, helpful and answered everything we’ve asked. They are the best of them all. Thank you!!

This place was very nice, flash, clean and super friendly staff. We caught taxi to the city only cost us a total of 20,000 yen for taxis to get around town. I would 100% recommend this place to stay with friends and family.

I came in off Royal Princess Cruise ship after 19 sea nights. I loved the location, the hot tub and body products, the ice bucket provided for my 1996 Grande Dame Veuve Clicquot and the high floor view overlooking Yokohama harbour and several cruise ships. I could also see fireworks from China town as I sipped my champagne. The bidet is a nice warm experience as you sit on a hot comfy toilet seat. I liked the pjs provided for me but they won’t fit you if you are bigger than a size 12 Australian sizing ladies.. the mini bar fridge is not cold but I managed to get someone to take the fridge plate out and fix it as I was paying just over $450 Australian per night x 3 nights. So I expected a cold mini fridge I have stayed in Hyatts all over the world and the Hyatt in Yokohama is lovely. I had originally booked a corner suite by the recommendation of a telephonist but paid extra to get a king deluxe suite. After my own research found out the other suites had better views. The safe is quite lengthy and wide. The bathroom shower has excellent pressure. The hot tub is just that. A tub. If you have average to long legs you definitely can’t stretch your legs out. It’s a tub built for one. I still enjoyed the hot tub my heart rate was 98/146 after my bath. It triggered something. I really liked the turn down service I ordered on a couple of nights. It was like having two delightful fairies fly in and get down to business tidy up and replace anything required and fly out . Incredible and wonderful.

Situated in Yokohama, 1.8 km from Yokohama Marine Tower, APA Hotel & Resort Yokohama Bay Tower features a spa and wellness centre. The hotel is very close to the metro station and close to a lot of the main attractions in Yokohama. It’s nice that the hotel has a pool and a bathhouse too.
