Hotel di Barano di Ischia, Ischia

Less than 50 metres from Ischia’s beaches, Hotel Maronti is a 5-minute drive from Barano d'Ischia. It offers a traditional restaurant, a bar and a sun terrace. A sweet breakfast is provided daily. Kind, welcoming and helpful host in Ernesto. Attentive and informative, making sure that you were enjoying your stay, being very patient with my terrible Italian, suggesting places to go and things to see and even taking time to explain the humble beginnings of the hotel and his family’s involvement. Getting to the hotel very straight forward, despite being opposite the main ‘hubs’ of the island, owing to the excellent public transport. Room very comfortable with all of the basic amenities, cleaned to a high standard every morning whilst you dine on the excellent breakfast in the beautiful gardens. My visit was the end of April/beginning of May, so for the majority of my stay it felt like I was the only guest! Maronti Beach on the south side of the island felt similarly deserted. This is no criticism, it was absolutely perfect for me but worth mentioning for other guests that may want more hustle and bustle or for other solo travellers who may feel uncomfortable. I won’t put it in the negatives because it’s absolutely understandable, but dinner wasn’t served for the duration of my stay (one week). A slight disappointment as I had heard very good things about the dinners but, as explained by Ernesto, servings don’t start until higher season when it can be justified. To clarify, the booking was for B & B, so I can’t complain. I will definitely return to experience the food. There are plenty of excellent food options a very short walk from the hotel, along the beach front, so nothing lost ultimately. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Perfect for my first visit to this amazing part of the Word, one I hope to return to.

The Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme with its outdoor and indoor thermal swimming pools is directly located on Maronti Beach, one of the most beautiful in Ischia. We are in love with Ischia and specially The Smeraldo hotel. Everything was perfect: the helpful and friendly staff ( we are impressed from the 4 star service) ; the delicious and tasty food; the clean and specious rooms ; the facilities and the beach which is a bit steep but with crystal clear water .

Situated right on the beach in Ischia, Hotel Angelino features an outdoor pool in its garden and views of the sea. The hotel has a sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Beautiful, timeless hotel right on the beach, gorgeous views. Excellent breakfast, wonderful service from a charming family. Meals, beach, everything was outstanding. There’s a private rooftop pool and a sauna in addition to the hot springs Roman bath spa 5 mins away on a footpath.

With a seafront location, Hotel Regina del Mare features a panoramic terrace and an outside thermal pool with sun loungers and parasols. It is located on Ischia Island. Hotel was on seashore and the site was magic. team was as familly, welcoming and always polite. Thanks to Carmen for nice coffee, Vito for boat driving and pool service, Natalka for room care and all the team !

Set in central Barano d'Ischia, Hotel La Luna features a large garden with swimming pool, plus a spa centre. Parking and WiFi in public areas are free of charge. Staff offered exceptional service, especially Louisa on the Reception desk. Location convenient to the junction of three bus stops…down to Maronti beach, main road to Ischia’s port and through gorgeous Serrara Fontana to other side of the island. The pool area was wonderful, set in a pretty garden with a great bar and food options.

This hotel is located next to Maronti Beach, 1.5 km along the coast from Sant'Angelo. It offers access to a private beach, thermal pools, hydromassage showers and a sauna. we had a wonderful sea view balcony, very clean and host Giovanni was very welcoming and friendly…. lovely breakfast and cappuccino

Set in a restored 18th-century villa, Albergo Villa Giusto has sea views over Ischia's Maronti Bay. I liked being up and away from downtown. The property was beautiful, the room was small but had everything we needed. Host went above and beyond for us.

Hotel San Giorgio Terme overlooks Maronti Beach, the largest beach in Ischia. It offers 2 sun terraces with views of the bay, and free access to its private beach area and to its new wellness centre. An excellent hotel, run by unobtrusive but friendly and professional staff. Immaculately clean and maintained. The location, the view, the pools and the food in the restaurant were all superb. The bus connection worked well for me.

Set on Maronti Beach, La Gondola is a hotel with a thermal spa and pool in Barano d'Ischia. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and traditionally furnished rooms with a terrace and Tyrrhenian Sea... This is the best location I have ever been for holiday. The room is always clean. The breakfast is very nice, the dinner is absolutely delicious!!! The staff of the hotel is friendly and very helpful. Big thanks to Antonio, Marco,Anna,Tania and all team of La Gondola Hotel, they made our holiday absolutely fantastic and unforgettable!!!
