Set in the popular 101 harbour district of Berjaya Reykjavik Marina Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access. All rooms include a flat-screen TV and either city or harbor views. We chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is located at the dry docks in Reykjavik and the dry docks are in full use. It is a short walk from the hotel to the center of the city. At the check-in, I mentioned the reason we chose the hotel and the staff jumped on it and upgraded us to a junior suite! Wow! That was not expected and what a nice treat it was. Amazing. The suite is wonderful and has a view over the dry docks and the harbor. It is very industrial but that is the charm of the hotel in my opinion. I am enclosing a picture I took from our balcony over the dry dock where they were painting a ship. The breakfast at Slippbarinn was very good and had nice seating. The food was very good. My very best greetings to the staff and thanks for being amazing.

Newly renovated during the spring of 2023, Hotel Local 101 is an independent hotel quietly tucked away in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. The workers is so warmhearted and helpful! Makes you feel like home. And the room is super clean and rather big.

A 5-minute walk from the bustling Laugavegur, Planet Apartments is in the central 101 area of Reykjavik in the heart ofthe old harbour district. It was clean, comfortable, and the view was amazing.
