Newly renovated during the spring of 2023, Hotel Local 101 is an independent hotel quietly tucked away in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. The staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent as was the location.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Reykjavik, close to all the sights without being in a crowded area. Parking was easy (and free) right in front of the building. The amenities were perfect. We especially appreciated the coffee! The hosts were responsive to our needs, and everything worked out wonderfully!

A 5-minute walk from the bustling Laugavegur, Planet Apartments is in the central 101 area of Reykjavik in the heart ofthe old harbour district. Everything. Loved the location, beautiful view of the harbor, loved the little balcony. Apartment had everything we need for our stay. Washing machine and dryer was very handy. Communication with host was good.
