A home away from home.... A family-run business...Lovely location, lovely people.... Mostafa the owner went above and beyond all of our expectations... we felt we were at home... will definitely visit again... I would recommend Old Nile to everyone who wishes to visit Luxor... PS: it would be a shame if I don't mention the food... freshly bought and cooked based on your needs....

Located directly next to Madinet Habou Temple, Nour El Balad is located in Luxor. Wi-Fi access is available. It offers mud brick houses with cosy and traditional rooms nestled in a palm grove. The hotel is very convenient to visiting Luxor, it is in great location on a quiet street. It is on the West bank of the Nile, very close to the main attractions, but East bank is also accessible easily by the ferry. Our room was very comfortable, staff very friendly and we had amazing food both for breakfast and dinner. I would recommend.

Staff are very helpful and friendly and even though committed 24/7, they all provide a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Free transfer by boat between the hotel and downtown Luxor is available around the clock upon call. The little restaurant offers a variety of tasty homemade food — a great breakfast, snacks for lunch and a diverse selection of dishes for dinner. All meals combine elements of the Egyptian and Western cuisine. Drinks (water, soft drinks, beer and a small selection of Egyptian wines) are also available, a specialty is the Turkish style coffee. The hotel offers a small pool perfectly suitable for a quick refreshment. Upon request, bicycles are available for rent, and the famous sights of the area (valley of the kings, valley of the queens, Hatshepsut temple - each approximately 8 km away one way) can be explored easily by bicycle! I lived for four years in Egypt, but this hotel was by far the nicest I ever had!

This air-conditioned hotel is in the Theban Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Location, comfort, cleanliness and the best was the restaurant with very high quality on each meal

Nice and clean Hotel surround by gardens and green spaces .. also we could see The Nile and the Mountains in amazing view .. The restaurant served for us very fresh and delicious food.. we also enjoy our time in the nice and clean swimming pool.. the Hotel arranged our tour to Dandara temple and Abydos Temple. Also the Sailing boat to see the sunset and the magical trip of the hot-air balloon.. The management and the team work was so kind and helpful .. Ayman &Mohammed were amazing in everything I recommend this nice Hotel..
