In a prime location in the Neustadt district of Mainz, H2 Hotel Mainz is located 1.4 km from Main Station Mainz, 12 km from Main station Wiesbaden and 37 km from Städel Museum. Excellent place for an overnight stay. Nice surrounding area, nice staff, nice café and breakfast. Rooms are soundproof, we didn't hear our neighbors at all.

Centrally located in Mainz, just 100 metres from the main railway station, this family-run, non-smoking hotel features a free sauna and free Wi-Fi internet access. Located across the main train station with soundproof windows, so no outside noise in the room. The room looked newly repaired, and very comfortable (with a double bed, a table to work, large bathroom mirror with all necessary amenities). The staff was extremely helpful.

The rooms are very well isolated, beds are perfect. 6 Min walking distance to the shopping area. Parking is around the corner in the Parking garage of the Supermarket (Rewe). The parking garage needs an update but is perfectly safe. Restaurants around the corner, like the bakery and so on. The staff is very politely and friendly.

Nice breakfast at reasonable price. Staff helpful. The red stone public buildings and charming painted house and shop facades in the old town plus new and old sculptures are interesting.
