Situated in the centre of Basel's Old Town, on the banks of the Rhine, Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of Europe’s oldest city hotels, where such personalities as Napoleon, Elizabeth II, Pablo... That was really amazing stay in a truly magnicient, exceptional hotel. This is definitely in my TOP 5 list of 5 star hotels and I wish to be back as soon as possible. From the first minute there I felt welcome. At the breakfast you get the Micheline-type attention and service.

Perfect, central location. Next to the tram station. The Rathaus is in 10 minutes easy walk. Very clean hotel. Reasonable breakfast. The size of the room is all right for few days stay. The room is clean, the air conditioning worked well.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Excellent location. The staff was very helpful and kind. I recommend the place. The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed.

Hotel brasserie au violon offers rooms with free WiFi in Basel, attractively situated 200 metres from Architectural Museum and 300 metres from Basel Cathedral. Our room on the top floor was excellent. We had a great view of the nearby church lit up at night it was excellent. The bathroom was great and the room we had was spacious. Having an elevator in the building was a bonus for getting our luggage up to the room.

Hotel Stadthof enjoys a central location in Basel Old Town. The hotel’s restaurant serves traditional Swiss and international dishes in the elegant dining room or on the terrace in nice weather. Just in the middle of the city, perfect location.

Convenient location to tram, restaurants and grocery store. It was great that there was a washing machine available and drying racks. The balcony was great.

Fantastic Studio, great for 2 or 3 people. Super clean and at a great location. Fully equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. Super fast and easy self-check in. 100% recommended!

HITrental Town Hall Apartments features accommodation within less than 1 km of the centre of Basel, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. Beautiful spacious apartment in the centre of basel. Close to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Also very close to some of the main view points and attractions. Apartment was a good size for a couple would likely be a bit of a squish for 4 people however. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was a good size with a lovely shower. Bed was reasonably comfortable although very firm. All things you could need such as iron, airer, TV, cleaning products etc. Check in was easy, collection of keys from a key box outside the apartment and a spare set of keys on the inside.
