The eco-friendly, family-run Das Grüne Hotel zur Post - 100 % BIO enjoys a quiet location in the Maxglan district, a 5-minute bus ride from the centre of Salzburg. It’s sufficient. Nothing extravagant but very warm and cozy. Rooms are comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and clean. Service is good.

Built by the famous architect Jakob Ceconi, Villa Ceconi is just a 5-minute bus ride from the centre of Salzburg. It offers free WiFi in public areas, and private parking is available on site. Place is very beautiful and clean, stuff was the nicest! Perfect location for public transport users. We could also left our bags in their luggage storage room.

The Astoria is a 3-star hotel just a 15-minute walk from the Old Town of Salzburg with the Festspielhaus (Festival Hall) and Mozart's birthplace. Awesome breakfast, plenty of choices and healthy breakfast. The location is great. Next to the hotel, there is a fresh local brewery. Don't miss that. Amazing.

Very Spacious nice quiet rooms with balcony for our 4 night stay. Excellent breakfast buffet. Enjoyed three dinners at the restaurant and received a great lunch bag for our early morning trip departure.
