Located on the banks of the Salzach River, Motel One Salzburg Mirabell is a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Palace and a 15-minute walk from Salzburg’s Old Town. It’s true what they said - enough with the same same. It is different, modern, interesting but still very cosy - definitely an unusual place. My view over the river was fantastic and the breakfast was the best!

The location is great (near the Salzburg HBF), the staffs are helpful and the breakfast is wonderful. The parking spaces are in front of the hotel marked with "PRIVAT" on the floor, the hotel's guests can park here all day long for free but there are not enough spaces for everyone. Conveniently located hotel, right next to the main station and attached to a mall with almost everything you need for your basic necessities. As a solo traveller, I felt the area was quite safe at any time of the day. Loads of restaurants around, with quick access to the tram and bus line as well as taxis. Easy walking distance to the Old Town as well. The staff there were exceptionally nice especially the Front Desk Receptionist Tom Bub.. He was always super patient and kind and was more than willing to go out of his way to cater to all your needs. Always had a smile on his face to greet you no matter how busy the front desk was. He has vast knowledge about the city as well as areas outside of it and can share the best tips and tricks to get around without being scammed as a tourist in the city. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Scherer is a traditional, family-run 4-star hotel in a quiet residential area, only a 15-minute walk along the Salzach River from Salzburg’s Old Town. It was extremely clean, awesome!

Located 100 metres from Salzburg Main Train Station, Austria Trend Hotel Europa Salzburg is only a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Gardens, the Congress Centre and Mozarts residential building. the hotel is great, clean and tidy, the check in was super fast.
