Great location - not too far from city centre though it is up a mountain so walking down is nice, but you may want to take the bus back up! Staff are great, rooms are great, location amazing. Family-run since 1877, the traditional Gasthof Rothmayr is located directly at the Danube River and with direct access from the B129, less than 2 km from the main square of Linz. The Staff is just wonderful — nice and thoughtful. The chef was kind to make my best salad in the world, and Anita at the reception was very kind :). I don’t really understand why that was the cheapest hotel in a 70 km radius. this hotel is more a boutique hotel, than a 2-star hotel. Much recommended!
