Somerset West is well situated, Cape Town is easily accessible as is the Airport, the N2 allows good travel options in all directions and the R44 to Stellenbosch, Franshoek, Paarl etc.The area has an excellent selection of restaurants and a fantastic selection of wineries most of which also have excellent restaurants on offer, prices are usually cheaper in Somerset West than CT.
Most importantly there are 7 golf courses within 10 miles.

Excellent local restaurants and vinery options within 30 minutes' drive on safe roads.
Strand beach is 10/15 minutes' drive from SW, so a walk on the beach is easy to allow you to relax. Parking is easy - weekends a bit busier.

Ideal location within plenty of shopping malls.
Ideal location within plenty of shopping malls. Clean, neat and "upmarket".
Nice roads and great atmosphere.
A must see is a visit to Cheetah Outreach (Cheetah Sanctuary), run by fully dedicated staff and volunteers. Standing up close to a fully grown Cheetah was an unforgettable experience 💙. The smaller animals, Foxes, Jackal, Anatolian Sheppard dogs, Caracal and many others were just as amazing.

Somerset West is a beautiful quiet, peaceful area, centrally located whether you want to head to the wine estates where there are plenty to choose from, or to the city of Cape Town, which is only a 40 minute drive.
Denise was on-site to welcome me and show me around the accommodation. She was very friendly and approachable. Caesar's Self-catering Open Plan Suite is clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fast and reliable internet connection.
Thank you Denise for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended for anyone else looking for a place to stay in the Somerset West area.
The rooms were nice and private, comfortably away from the main residence so as not to feel as if we were interrupting the goings on, since we had a longer stay there. The unit was self catering with the kitchen area being well equipped and the room very comfortable. The two managers were very welcoming and attentive without being overshadowing. Thank you for the lovely stay.
Truly worth the money. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were clean, and the staff were really professional and friendly. This was our first holiday in over 2 years and we couldn't have stayed at a better place. The hotel is centrally located in Cape Town so everything that we wanted to do was less than an hour's drive. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
The property is very beautiful ,classy ,luxury, very clean ,amazing garden . We had the best breakfast ever in the tower faceing the garden and next to the swimming pool .We were literally spoil by Mario with all the comfort ,attention ,kindness and dedication .Definitely when we will be back in Cape Town ,we will book Villa Adalbert
This was a delightful breakaway less than an hour away from the centre of Cape Town. Delicious breakfast included in our stay. The restaurant (The Eatery) where we had a function the evening before presented us with the most delicious food and wine. The lodge is in a beautiful part of Somerset West!
This is the second time we’ve stayed and once again Mario gave a masterclass of being the perfect host. The rooms and outside spaces to relax and enjoy are delightful and breakfast is perfection. If you need to stay in Somerset West, look no further.
