Was a transit stop for an early morning flight. It was fairly late in the even and we still found places that served good tasty food. The pods were easy to find. I would suggest booking beforehand rather than showing up and hoping there is space.

It's just cheap hotels surroundings the airport. Nothing to do or see as far as I can tell but I was only there for a stopover. Hanoi is a brilliant city and I love and recommend it but the area around the airport isn't much. Like anywhere, it's just set up for the airport which makes sense. The hotel is just an 8 minute drive from the airport. Skip talking to the taxi drivers at the airport because they will try and take advantage of you. Book this place and Tommy is more than helpful arranging transportation to and from the airport, even for early morning flights. We stayed a second time on our way home from our holiday and the owner gave us a bigger room; this was so appreciated since we were traveling with our three-year-old daughter. For the price paid (~$15 usd), I thought it was very good. The room was clean and seems like it was recently renovated. There is a A/C and heater unit as well. Communication was easy in English via WhatsApp or Bookings.com. They were also able to arrange a car service from the airport to the hotel for 80k VND.
