The people here are way more friendly, then I have experienced in some other parts North Dakota. I truly did not feel a lack of service anywhere I went and there is plenty of shopping and entertainment. Since I was here for work I didn't get to go a lot of places, but the shops I did go to had great gifts and souvenirs.

Williston has great things to do.
Williston has great things to do. If you want a water park there is one at the Williston ARC. There is a jump park for the kids. There are events regularly downtown. If you like outdoor activities there are those too. Fishing, rockhounding, hiking trails at the confluence... lots of things you just have to look. I made reservations but had a emergency at work. I had little notice that I had to return home post haste. Made the reservations through Booking.com which I will never use again. I had the I refundable option. No understanding from the hotel. I will never stay at a Best Western. I felt they could have worked with me a bit.CarolUnited States

Beds were dirty from previous guests, fridge was filled with alcohol beverages, dirty towels on bathroom floor, floors were not vacuumed and hallways were lined with garbage and old sheets. Breakfast was disgusting. No hot breakfast. Cereal was dry and stale, hard boiled eggs looked like they were over a week old, no juice in machine, nothing in the breakfast fridge.
