The suite was roomy and very tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities of home. I loved the view from the balcony. I also loved the washer and dryer and the ice maker!

Location, balcony with table for laptops made for a wonderful start each day. Even though there were many families with children, the adult pool was buffered from the sounds of children playing in the family pool, creating a beautiful sanctuary.

It is very windy and 3 days of our stay the resort area was uninhabitable. We either needed to stay inside-not why we came to Hawaii or go to Kona. There are no real beaches in the area we spent alot of time driving back and forth to Kona.

3 Bedroom condo was very nice.
3 Bedroom condo was very nice. Comfortable beds and kitchen fully stocked. location great. Nice lunch (and breakfast) spot nearby at Johny's restaurant at Golf Pro Shop. Wish we could have golfed. Excellent pool and workout area per my friends. Tennis courts strange matt surface. Hard to see #s on other condos at night to find location of our friends who were also staying there. But overall, a great facility and will be back!

Waikoloa is a great affordable luxury resort development.
Waikoloa is a great affordable luxury resort development. It is the kind of place where you can take walks and enjoy the beautiful landscaping or for dining and shopping. Many excellent tour companies (Kailani Tours) do pick-ups here and Waikoloa is well situated for exploring all parts of the island.

The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely.
The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. However, the food was mediocre at best, very overpriced and not fresh. The staff were not overly helpful or friendly. I would be hesitant to recommend this resort to friends and family.

We were a family of 5 and this was great!
We were a family of 5 and this was great! It gave us plenty of space and we were able to relax in the room and grill and cook a few meals in. There is shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, and a BIG ABC store that has everything you could want - groceries, take out, souvenirs, etc all right across the street within walking distance. Its only about 20 min from the airport but has lots of open space and a very quiet feel to everything. Its a very short drive to several beaches and only about an hour or so to anything else on the Island. We were on 3rd floor and elevator is small and very slow but is helpful with luggage. The garage had lots of beach gear available for use. Small but nice swimming pool just a few buildings down with beautiful landscaping around it and a shaded patio if you are hanging out and watching kids swim.

The Mauna Lani Beach Club is a wonderful beach and it was a huge plus to have access to the cabanas and furniture based on the fact the unit had a membership there. We enjoyed the fact that the unit was close to restaurants (Tommy Bahama) and groceries (Foodland).
Morning walks around Mauna Lani are wonderful and easy access over to the beach is convenient. It's also simple to travel over to Waikoloa for even more shopping and restaurants. The Lava Lava Beach club has great food and is right on the water where we got to see a Monk Seal swim in the bay.
Also, I would recommend exploring the full Big Island. There are wonderful national parks and you can see so much and so many different climates and landscapes. It is truly unique compared to the other islands.
We were able to see whales each day when we drove north up Kohala.
All in all a wonderful trip for our 10th visit to the islands.
The staff was amazing. They allowed us to keep our room a few extra hours beyond check out because we were waiting for a spa appointment. Hotel lobby and areas for sitting and enjoying the sunset or eat breakfast or sip a drink were wonderful. The bathroom was great. The only minor negative was an "oceanfront" room that was a far distance from the oceanfront and more inner courtyard then pool and then the beach in the distance view. Slightly false advertising. Otherwise perfect.
The unit was very clean and had all the extras that we could possibly need such as towels, washer and dryer, kitchen gadgets, beach supplies, board games, BBQ, plus more. The property grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The property was gated and felt safe. Plenty of space in the unit for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. So much more to explore nearby the unit that we didn't get a chance to. There is an ocean view trail with access right on the property.
Building 24. JR SUITE. Room is cozy and beautiful. Pool is better then Hilton.
Free Waikoloa event pass for your whole stay. Free parking. Parking right outside your room. BBQ area in walking distance. Rice cooker, toaster, dish soap, dish sponge, dish wash pods, 1x detergent, serveware and utensils, and water pitcher. Expensive toilet that sprays your bum. Elevator. 3 floors. AC, change fan speed and light dim. Smart TVs (room and living room)
Accommodation interior was perfect. Suited 2 couples very well, with own bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen and dining areas for self catering. Space to relax in doors and out. Communal small gym and swimming pool. Beach equipment was good and clean. Lockable garage and outdoor parking space provided. Host Michel, was easily contactable at the end of a phone call or email- quick to respond.
We were travelling with our teenage son and had a beautiful two-bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the golf course and the ocean in the distance. It was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. Although the price was somewhat high, it was a bargain compared to the beach resorts 15 minutes away which charged twice as much for a standard hotel room.
I sent my son to the Hilton Waikaloa as a college grad gift, my husband I I were married there 23 years ago.
My son had so much fun! His room was lovely and he really enjoyed his stay. I hope to actually come back with my husband on one of our anniversary’s… we shall see. Thank you to the staff for taking the time to give him a map for places to visit .
Our ocean view room in the Palace Towers was excellent. It was very large, clean, and had great views of the resort and ocean. The customer service at the Hilton Waikoloa was outstanding. Whether we needed coffee and creamers, towels, plastic bags, extra pillows, valet service, or anything else we requested, it was taken care of immediately.
Great location, beautiful views, near by pool and ocean beach. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Really satisfied with the spacious and comfortable apartment, a luxury feeling. Private parking in carport just outside the apartment was perfect. We are also really pleased with the host.
One of our best stays ever. This place is elegant, quiet, well-furnished, with thoughtful items like notes on counters to help find things. All needed amenities were provided. Back of the unit looks out over the golf course.
i love the location & accessibility to the waikoloa shops and eateries! the home was clean & the kitchen was stocked with all the small everyday items you would need! made it very convenient to cook breakfast and lunch!
The location and beach area are gorgeous. So quintessential Hawaii with an elegant vibe. Was not over crowded compared to less expensive resorts. Brown’s Beach House was also spectacular and the service was very good.
I went through booking.com and wish I could have gone with some kamaaina.rates
Also wanted more info on a kitchenette room so I could bring my whole family to enjoy your hospitality and beautiful hotel .Mahalo's
Enjoyed the view of Mauna Kea on one side, and the ocean on the other. Very serene. Parking at unit. Easy walk to large grocery and restaurants in Waikoloa village. Amenities of the condo were amazing.
