Residence Inn by Marriott Vail, hotel in Vail

Located in Vail, 45 km from Frisco Historic Park, Residence Inn by Marriott Vail provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a shared lounge and a bar.

The Residence Inn was a great choice for us in Vail. The hotel has all the amenities you need for your ski trip. Their shuttle service to Vail Village is very convenient and runs every 15 minutes until 10pm. Parking is great! Without knowing too much about other hotels in Vail, I think it is an excellent option in terms of price/benefit without ever feeling like a low-cost hotel (which it is not). 100% recommended.

It is all about the skiing for most people, and the Vail ski resort is amazing. Hard to beat as a ski destination. It is generally a very expensive place to stay but there are many options available to you. As a town, feels a bit disjointed with the two main locations of Vail Village and Lionshead being separated. If you come without your own transport, get used to having to take buses/shuttles most places. Having said that, the transport system is incredibly good once you work it all out. Lots of places to eat, moreso in Vail Village. As it is also under Epic Pass, easy to ski Beaver Creek during your stay in Vail, with a great (free) bus service mostly every 20 mins from Vail to BC and only takes about half an hour. It is a shame that the same is not available for Breckenridge, another Epic resort.

    Amazing mountain!

Amazing mountain! You can’t beat the vastness of this mountain. There is something for everyone and every level of skiing. The village is awesome with plenty of restaurants and shops. I would avoid this place on busy holiday weekends.

We visited during the autumn when the aspen colors were at their peak. Incredible views everywhere. Nice warm sun and cool nights. Village was pretty quiet as it was "between seasons" which made for a very relaxing visit, with no waits for restaurants, etc. Very easy to walk around the public areas.

Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town.

Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town. It is a credit to the locals who seem to take great pride in their town. It has the benefit natural beauty with its surrounding mountains. The free electric bus service that teavels around the town is a great way to see the sights including the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens which are well worth a visit .

Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo on the 4th floor of Vail Lodge. While we were only there for 1 night, it was the perfect setup for me and my travel friend. We enjoyed having our own bedrooms and bathrooms, a nice living room, and kitchen area. Perfect for a few travelers and would have been great if we were staying even longer! We enjoyed using the pool and hot tub in the evening, and were the only ones there (note, it was busier in the afternoon). The location was ideal for strolling around Vail Village.

The location was perfect. Being near a stream and the Gore Bike Path (the later literally in the back yard) was a plus. The housekeeping, front desk, and managerial staff were exceptional. The front desk was able to direct us to an out of the way spot that the locals go to in hopes that we would have a moose siting along with advice regarding the best way to see the back side of Vail Mtn, They were all above and beyond.

This hotel wasn’t the most up-to-date or the cleanest, but it was very well-located and a good price. The beds were awful, and our backs were killing us. However, It is a great value. The pool is only open in the summer, and the hot tub was closed for one of the 2 days we were there. Again though, location location location! You cannot complain about a good hotel at a good price that allows pets in Vail Village!

hotel location was centrally located within Vail Village with parking beneath the hotel. the room over looked a bubbling creek. The lobby was undergoing an update so as to be ready for the ski season. I was notified both by phone and e-mail to keep me informed and offered the opportunity to cancel if I was not satisfied. The employees were super and went out of their way to make our stay special,

We had a great appartment with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Each appartment is different as they seem privately owned. Our apartment was well equiped with a good kitchen, fire place and TV. The apartments are in the center of the Vail West, Lionshead which is a small center with good facilities and direct lift access. Vail Center is 20 minutes nice walk or the free shuttle bus.

Vail is absolutely beautiful and this place was quiet and clean, tucked away in the greenery of Vail. The whole place was spotless and there was tea and coffee. Vail is very expensive, so this was pretty affordable all things considered. Going in October was a great decision, the leaves were just changing colors.
